Mrs. Doris Margaret Prior (nee Dunkel)
July 23, 1929 – March 2, 2024

With great sorrow her family announces her passing on Saturday March 2, 2024 at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane at the age of 94. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and the late May Dunkel (nee Hart) and beloved wife of of the late Stanley ‘’Bob’’ Prior.

She leaves behind her children Betty (Jean-Serge) Levasseur, Timothy "Tim" (Dianna) Prior, Linda (late Matthew) Spence, Shirley (Peter) Nash, James (Françoise) Prior and Robert (Emily) Prior, her 14 grandchildren, her 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-child due in August 2024. She will be sadly missed by other relatives and friends.

Visitations will be held at Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 70 Seventh Ave. South, Cochrane, Ontario on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 6 pm to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday May 18, 2024 at 11 am at the Irvine & Irvine Chapel in Cochrane, followed by the interment Greenwood Cemetery in Frederickhouse and reception to follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

Elle laisse également autres parents et amis.

La famille accueillera parents et amis au Salon funéraire Irvine & Irvine, 70 Seventh Ave. South, Cochrane, le vendredi 17 mai 2024 de 18h à 20h. Une célébration aura lieu le samedi 18 mai 2024 à 11h à la Chapelle du Salon funéraire Irvine & Irvine. Elle sera inhumée au Cimetière Greenwood de Frederickhouse suivi par une réception à la Salle des Chevaliers de Colomb.
